Terms and Conditions

Terms for using Triplio and Triplio Pro.

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Triplio, including free accounts and the paid Triplio Pro subscription.

Triplio is currently intended for consumers only. It is not intended for purchases made primarily for business, commercial, freelance, or professional purposes.

2. Provider

Triplio is provided by: WhyNot Digital Marcel Gorgolewski und Tobias Meyer GbR Graf-Bernhard-Ring 19A 21481 Lauenburg Germany Email: info@homeiswhereyourbagis.com VAT ID: DE316298169

3. Service Description

Triplio is a digital travel planning service. Users can create AI-assisted itineraries, day plans, route tips, maps, favorites, private notes, route chats, and other planning features.

Triplio Pro extends the free feature set. Currently, Pro includes unlimited country itineraries within technical abuse-prevention measures, itineraries up to 30 days, unlimited route chat, new day tips, PDF export, and extended or future travel tools with fewer limits.

Triplio does not owe any specific travel outcome, booking, or individual travel, legal, medical, insurance, or safety advice. All content is provided for general travel planning and inspiration.

4. Registration and Account

Certain features require an account. Registration is available by email address and first name or through a supported login service such as Google.

Users must protect their access credentials and may not share their account with third parties. Triplio Pro is intended for personal use by the account holder.

Paid features require users to be at least 18 years old. Minors may purchase paid services only with the consent of their legal representatives.

5. Free Plan and Triplio Pro

The Free plan is available without charge and is subject to feature and usage limits. Currently, the Free plan includes, among other things, up to 3 country itineraries per day, itineraries up to 21 days, and up to 5 route chat answers per day.

Triplio Pro is a paid subscription. The current prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown on the pricing page and in Stripe Checkout.

There is no entitlement to permanently unchanged free features. Triplio may change, limit, or discontinue free features where this is reasonable for users.

6. Contract Formation and Payment

The paid contract for Triplio Pro is concluded when the user completes the order process through Stripe and Stripe confirms the payment or subscription.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Payment data, invoices, payment methods, and cancellations are managed through the Stripe-hosted Checkout and Customer Portal.

Consumer prices include the applicable statutory VAT where VAT applies. Current prices are €6.99 per month or €69.90 per year.

7. Term, Renewal, and Cancellation

Triplio Pro is billed monthly or yearly depending on the selected plan. The subscription renews automatically for the selected billing interval unless it is cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

Users can cancel at any time with effect at the end of the current billing period through the Stripe Customer Portal. Pro access remains active until the end of the already paid period after an ordinary cancellation.

Ordinary cancellation does not result in a prorated refund for the current period. Statutory rights, including consumers’ right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the separate Right of Withdrawal information.

If a Pro subscription is validly withdrawn within the withdrawal period, Triplio will refund the paid amount in full.

9. AI-Generated Content and Travel Information

Triplio uses AI systems, in particular to create itineraries, day tips, and chat answers. AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Users must independently verify important information before travelling, including entry requirements, safety conditions, health and vaccination advice, opening hours, prices, connections, availability, weather, local rules, and booking terms.

Hotel, activity, transport, or other recommendations are non-binding planning aids and do not guarantee quality, availability, price, or suitability.

10. External Providers and Partner Links

Triplio does not itself sell or broker trips, flights, hotels, tours, transfers, insurance, or other travel services. Bookings are made exclusively with the respective external providers.

Triplio may contain affiliate or partner links to external providers such as Booking.com, Stay22, GetYourGuide, or 12Go. If users book through such links, the terms and privacy information of the respective external provider apply.

Triplio is not a party to contracts concluded between users and external providers.

11. User Content and Public Routes

Itineraries generated by users may be publicly accessible and may appear in overviews, search results, or through shared links. Private notes and personal account data are not displayed publicly.

Users may not enter or process unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, copyright-infringing, security-threatening, or otherwise abusive content through Triplio.

Please do not enter sensitive personal data, payment data, identity document data, or confidential information in routes, notes, or chat messages.

12. Availability and Changes

Triplio makes reasonable efforts to operate reliably. However, uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability is not guaranteed.

Maintenance, security updates, technical issues, third-party outages, abuse prevention, or necessary product changes may temporarily restrict features.

Triplio may develop, change, or replace features provided that the core benefit of an active Pro subscription is not unreasonably impaired.

13. Abuse and Suspension

In particular, automated mass requests, scraping, circumvention of technical limits, resale of accounts, account sharing, attacks on systems, unlawful use, or inputs that infringe third-party rights are prohibited.

In the event of serious violations, Triplio may restrict features, remove content, temporarily suspend accounts, or terminate contracts for cause. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

14. Rights of Use

Triplio grants users a simple, non-transferable right to personally use the provided features in accordance with these Terms.

All rights in the Triplio software, design, trademarks, logos, and other proprietary content remain with the provider or the respective rights holders.

Users may save, print, and share self-generated travel planning content for their own private travel planning, provided that no third-party rights are infringed and Triplio content is not commercially exploited.

15. Liability

Triplio is fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions.

In cases of simple negligence, Triplio is liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

To the extent legally permissible, Triplio does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or suitability of travel information, AI outputs, or external provider information.

16. Privacy

Information about the processing of personal data is available in the Triplio Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

Triplio may amend these Terms where this is necessary due to legal changes, technical developments, new features, or clarification needs.

Material changes affecting active Pro subscriptions will be communicated to users in an appropriate manner. Where legally required, consent will be obtained.

18. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which consumers have their habitual residence remain unaffected.

Triplio is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
